Walking is quintessentially such an integral part of our life and living, it is as much like eating, sleeping, working and playing. It is one of the most “illustrative human activities” we have invariably taken it for granted. Though walking is not a serious business per se but many take walking very seriously. There are the serious walkers and there are those who are the casual walkers, the common denominator between them are walking.

 

Nevertheless, walking continues to stay as a wonderful engagement of life.

 

It is fundamentally a “purification process” and fascinatingly a wholesome management of self. Though walking has undergone a historical change with time, modern days have come with so much of choice for “transportation and travel”, now we do so walking out of choice and not out of compulsion.  In olden days where the options of transportation were limited, it was the walking that compensated overcoming the limitation.

As we start the transition in transferring the new faces into our memory bank as they form a routine and rhythm in their walk we start exploring the expectations of “meeting and greeting” people while walking.

 

Thinking is not easy job and while thinking it seems that we do nothing, it is perceived to be in a state of idleness and if not idle close to a similar state. How else we can describe the state of thinking? The best thing to defeat the perception is to do something that do not disturb but augment thinking and it is the walking that facilitates thinking and breaks that formation of wrong perception about thinking and doing nothing.
