Part, Apart and Art that keep us in Dart…
The title is deceptively poetic.
“It is indeed cryptic.”
The topic is acrimoniously profound.
There is no deliberate distortion but merely a conscious effort to obtain the shrinking attention. Today, we are living in a society of abject conflict and brewing commotion. The freedoms of thoughts are wounded. The subjugated mind is vaguely wondering. It is drawing venom. Mind is in state of heighten turbulence.
“The divide is apparent.”
There has always been the physical divide.
The geography has been drawn and is being constantly redrawn in certain part of the world with such deep destruction and death.
“It is striking.”
“It is hitting hard at our conscience.”
There is a frantic need for awakening.
No mercy on children. Just look at the life of children in war ravaged Syria. Innocents get haplessly buried in the cacophony of wicked fight. The crookedness are in abject display. The war is on and we are mute witness.
Negativity is on the rampage.
Positivity is losing its firm footing.
The contest in growing, it is intensifying in it severity. The heart of the matter is hate. The game of one-upmanship is on. The ideology of invasion and intrusion is all-pervasive. “Privacy and Peace” are under pathological assault. The evil forces are in action to keep us apart.
The devil is in the idea of a world that is to keep us apart on flimsy ground to taking a flight onto the figment of imagination.

The political forces to religious forces are savagely playing the mind game. We are the prey they are the predators. The common public like us have become the pawns. The chessboard here looks quite different where things are not as black and white, the grey predominates the ground. The partition has kept countries like India and Pakistan apart and so is the case with North Korea and South Korea. The fight is on and the cost and consequences are just irrelevant.
There is craziness in the battle of mind over matter.
There is brazenness in the way we deal with each other.
“Rationality is atrociously hijacked.”
Dogged arguments to counter arguments are the new verbal missiles, impulsive reactions without any reflection, instant attribution without any sense of assessment, word for word; eye for eye, kill for a kill and the world is rashly short of good words.
The tweets are taking the fight onto the virtual world. Physical world is not enough to satiate our ego. Donald Trump and Theresa May were most recently trapped in a public spat. Leaders of two most developed country. The position is projected to pulverize the proposition. The coterie comes into immediate action and compounds the complexity of the talk.
Here geographical divide is not keeping them apart.
It seems they adore playing the game of odium on the virtual ground. Terrorism gets the color of religion. Beauty of rainbow color is battered through the blurred lens of political prism of pious religions. The political battle in India has been on the religious ground. It has a legacy. It has a historical bearing on the psyche of people’s mind.
The largest democracy and the oldest democracy have their own periscope ways of dividing the perception of people.

The political fight is on the ground of immigration in United States of America. In between these two ends of the geographical divide lies the United Arab Emirates, today “united” is a misnomer and there is the divide of the soil on the ground of oil, the oil power is dwindling. New sources of energy are pushing the old power houses into cold storage. The art is in the new science of sourcing energy. The life itself or the way we operate our life, the art of living our life. It is showing the changing pattern in Saudi Arabia, both the lifestyle and the source of running the society. The fuel is changing its form and the flow. Nobody it seems cares for the poor.
The less privileged are left to find their own hearth and life is in deep dart.
Rich are on auto pilot mode and they are cruising swiftly to greater heights. The poor are on down hill. They are pushed hard, and it is hurting and who cares. The share is disproportionately growing with the rich and the powerful. Amidst all this exclusion comes the sugar coated extravaganza.
The philanthropic hats are thrown into the playground.
The intentions are well grounded.
Warren Buffet to Bill Gates is leading the pack in the west. Ratan Tata to Azim Premji is catching up in the east. The east and west are on course to meet on such common ground. They are all wonderful people. Innovators and accomplished, they have got it and they are giving it. Their idea is profoundly noble. They have a commitment to a social cause. Giving pledges, $14 billion and still counting, and more are coming forward. But there is no visible sign of bridging the chasm between the have and have-nots. There is no space for art in the heart of all these bloody battle of power and giving empowerment a bloody blow. The leaders keep talking on the power of empowerment but they surreptitiously make sure that it remains there in the virtual space and without a tinge of tweak on the reality.
It is a game of perception.
They’ve mastered it.
The power of digital media is propagating the disguised message in the most decorated manner. It is make belief world. There is castle designed to mystify our myths. We are imprisoned in the conflicts and contradictions. It is implanted. It is deliberately played on us.
We are hooked and slowly getting cooked.
“It is not palatable.”
The roast is on and there is no respite from the onslaught of such recipe.
Just like the pure art is getting distorted in the hands of digital diffusion. The “tradition and technology” are fighting to hold on to their ground…the place and the space. Technology is ruthless. Tradition is meekly succumbing to the twist, the turn and the vortex of technology innovation. The mental vector is distorting the physical sector. The question that keeps us on elusive haunt, which is the part that can be connected to make us whole. The wholesome person that we are born to be brought up in our life, it is jeopardy. It is the art of living life and the art is just not about the artists. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of the “The Art of Living Foundation” is earnestly attempting to bring that force of harmony through peace around the world.
The creative art is where our heart resides, and we have tactfully kept it apart.
The sources of societal re-engineering, such depart lies in the way vested interest work, nefarious forces act, the hardliners in action…the suppressed lot, the oppressed on up rise, the minorities in ghettos, and fractured groups are up in arms to grab their lost ground. The poor are being exploited. The ignorant are being misguided. The vulnerable are being targeted. The youths are being brainwashed. It is rooted in the twin forces of “power and money” is camouflaging the contours of our conflicts. Pushing the boundaries is the deep-seated corruption; the battle is being designed through the tools of “religion and politics”. It is such a heady cocktail, and it is turning out to be a messy affair that being blatantly played out by the political forces on the religious canvas. And we are witnessing to such cluttered painting of distorted picture. A deeper look at the way things are unfolding around us, it seems there is a purpose behind all such dichotomies and divide that is in play.
“It is all in the game plan.”
“It is a mind game.”
It doesn’t matter where the game is being played…the ground has been made blatantly irrelevant. In fact today the real fight begins on the virtual space and then it spreads to the real world, perhaps defining sign of changing time and things to come with the rapid digitization of our life. It is appearing irreversible.
“There is a dart.”
“There is that rush, that jump and there is that scramble for place in the space.”
Discrimination is there everywhere; it is the depth and degree that decides the impact on our physic. Virtual space is not immune. There are diminishing forces unifying the world and expanding forces are in full action in accelerating the fragmentation of our society. It is on the crossroad and the common people like us are utterly confused and not clear which way to take and who all will join us in keeping the humanity above the hostility.
Is it the art or the science behind such disruption that is keeping us apart and we have ceased to see the part of our life that matters to our heart?
