Happy New Year

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY READING & BLOGGING

Every Year when the New Year arrives…

Suddenly we all feel at the top of the Mount Everest, we are at the confluence of a defining time-zone that will re-define our future forever. The past becomes little more nostalgic, the present turns more vibrant and the future looks so exciting…and we try to seize every passing moment, this is the hour, as if we have been waiting for the entire year, it appears the whole year is abruptly disappearing from us during those very fleeting moments…we want to hold back the year going-away and we try to work the small things before the year ends, and at same time we want to plan out the big things that will mysteriously appear with the advent of New Year.

We change our attitude towards change…

Mostly, we all have the inherent nature of resisting any form of change, primarily because we don’t want to defer our gratification. Though change is an essential element of our existence still we instinctively resist the change. But interestingly this is one change we all look forward…the change of year, and we welcome the change with lots of fun and frolic. Attitude is a matter of our outlook. There is a universal feeling and unanimous belief that with the onset of New Year, it will usher good things for us…we are brimming with joy and our mind exudes excitement.

We become little more philosophical…

The moment the first couple of days of the New Year passes by, we suddenly realize that nothing has changed. Perhaps most of us in such deep celebration & deliberation that we find it difficult to get back to our routines on the subsequent days. In fact we start doing exactly the way we have been doing the things in the last couple of days of previous year… nothing has significantly changed the way we all imagined it to be… yes, the calendar year has definitely changed…it is technical nothing tectonic.

The planetary change changes our providence…

Conceivably, because the significance we ascribe to a year…and our planet has covered one more round of orbiting around the sun, largely none of us think that way…nevertheless, it is significant as is the belief, it will someway impact our luck with the changed planetary position. Though, we definitely reduce a year from our life span, albeit one thing is certain it is an occasion to start doing new things and break away from old stuff; there is a perceptible feel good factor in the air…the atmosphere around tends to be more conducive for change. A change in our thinking, working and living…

The occasion to play the ice-breakers…

Since it is an occasion which can break barriers and make a new beginning, why not use the occasion for doing something which contributes towards the betterment of our existence and for the good of the society. Each of us can do something good because of the new occasion why not make it  big and do something bigger which can change the course of our society for the betterment of the humankind…

The time to reflect and take a resolve…

We feel, if we call our relatives whom we have not spoken for years they will respond, we feel, if we want to start a friendship with someone new this is the time to initiative the dialogue…there is a high probability for positive response from everywhere. We feel we should take a resolution to do something new and something good as everybody around us will keep asking…so lets have an answer.

Happy New Year
