Sun & Scene
Playing with Photography makes a Writer Wander with Words…
– Nihar Pradhan
Photography is about playing with light, knowing the power of light…we understand its true significance when we are in darkness. Sun as the ultimate source of light and energy is the anchor of life on earth, we take it for granted in the whirlwind of daily chores.
Once we wear the cap of a Photographer which I did and take the passion seriously, which I have started doing it I have realized the power of light and its influence on photography as an art…sunrise and sunset is a fascinating experience, provided we momentarily dedicate our senses and imagination to the very moment of rising and setting sun.
I have observed and been amazed with the timeless cycle of rising and setting sun, the moments are indeed mesmerizing…here are sunset scenes captured in two of the most beautiful places…Kabini a place amidst forest and river in the south of India and Kashmir a place amidst beautiful valley and snow capped mountains in the north of India.
Photography is about the moment and the light…I have been waiting for the moment to capture the sunrise scenes in these beautiful places, you have to be an early riser, sacrifice your morning sleep to see the awakening beauty of sunrise…sunrise scenes coming soon!!!

I was just lucky to be there and the time was perfect, and the sun was kind to me…every time I see the sun rise or sun set in any place I see the same magic intact and radiant in full vigor…always a delight for any photographer. Thanks a lot Sue for your beautiful words…
